CEO, ASAHI EUROPE LTD
Hector is the Chief Executive Officer of Asahi Europe Ltd, a position which he has held since October 2016.
From 2008 until his move to Asahi Europe Ltd, Hector was Managing Director for SABMiller Western and Central Europe. He joined the company in 2004 as Managing Director for SABMiller in Hungary.
Before SABMiller he held a number of senior management positions at The Coca-Cola Company as well as at Benevia and Searle Europe.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, ASAHI EUROPE
Rohan joined Asahi Europe Limited in October 2016 and is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Information Systems, Procurement, Internal Audit and Risk Management.
Prior to joining Asahi Europe Limited, Rohan was at SABMiller PLC where he was Chief Financial Officer of Birra Peroni, based in Italy since 2014. Rohan first joined SABMiller in 2002 as a member of the Group Accounting Team in South Africa and held a number of finance roles of increasing responsibility across multiple geographies, including Director of Finance in Russia and SABMiller Europe’s Regional Financial Controller.
Rohan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rhodes University, an M.B.A from Manchester University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
GROUP SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR, ASAHI EUROPE. SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR, BIRRA PERONI
With both a regional and national role, Roberto Cavalli is the third generation in his family to lead brewing at Birra Peroni. He joined in 1984 as Chief Project Manager restructuring the Naples Brewery. He progressed his career in Birra Peroni by heading up the Capex Function, integrating Danone into Peroni and heading up Engineering before being promoted to Technical Director, Operations Director and then Manufacturing Director. In 2014 Roberto’s role broadened into taking responsibility for Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
GLOBAL BRANDS PORTFOLIO DIRECTOR, ASAHI EUROPE
Gisela took up her position as Global Brands Portfolio Director in August 2017. The brand portfolio under her remit includes Asahi Super Dry, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Grolsch and Meantime.
Prior to taking up her Global Brands-role, she was the Marketing Director of our Dutch business, Royal Grolsch from 2013 to 2017; based at the brewery in Enschede, The Netherlands. She joined SABMiller in 2006 in South Africa, following a sales, shopper and brand marketing career at Unilever and Tiger Brands. She was responsible for Innovation and Brand Management of the major brands portfolio in the South African operation and then moved to the Group Marketing-function as Global Innovation Platform manager, followed by various innovation roles, culminating in the role of Group Capability Director (Innovation & Brand Propositions).
MANAGING DIRECTOR, ASAHI UK
Tim has been Manager Director of Asahi UK since January 2018, having joined the business as Sales Director in 2013.
Prior to working at Asahi UK, Tim was On-Trade and Wholesale Sales Director at ABInbev UK where he spent more than 21 years and began his early career in the beer industry.
MANAGING DIRECTOR, ROYAL GROLSCH
Andrei took up this position in 2015. He joined SABMiller in 2003 as Vice-President Finance, Legal & IT and, subsequently, Vice-President Sales & Distribution at Ursus Breweries in Romania. He moved to Budapest in Hungary in 2010 taking up the responsibility of Managing Director at Dreher Breweries before moving to the Netherlands to his current role.
Before this he held several financial management positions within British American Tobacco.
MANAGING DIRECTOR, BIRRA PERONI ITALY
Neil was appointed Managing Director, Birra Peroni Italy, in September 2014. Prior to joining Birra Peroni in Italy, Neil was Chief Transformation Officer at MillerCoors. Neil held a number of management positions before joining the brewing industry, such as Global VP Sales (US Playing Card), VP Sales Worldwide Food Division (Reckitt Benckiser), Group Director National Accounts, GM Mid-Central Region (Miller Brewing) and various Sales and Marketing roles with Procter & Gamble.
GROUP CORPORATE AFFAIRS DIRECTOR, ASAHI EUROPE
Monika joined Asahi Europe in September 2017 and is responsible for corporate relations, communications, social and environmental responsibility.
Prior to joining Asahi Europe Ltd., Monika was at SABMiller PLC where she was Global Head of Commercial Governance. Monika first joined SABMiller in 2006 as Director of Corporate Affairs at Dreher Breweries in Hungary and held a number of corporate affairs roles at SABMiller PLC after moving to the UK in 2010. Monika led diverse corporate communications schemes at financial services and management consultancies before joining the brewing industry.
Monika holds an MBA and has a postgraduate degree in business law.
MANAGING DIRECTOR, ASAHI PREMIUM BRANDS EMEA & LATAM
Filippo came to Asahi Europe from SABMiller which he joined in 2004 as Marketing Director for Birra Peroni in Italy. He then became Managing Director of Brands Europe in Pilsen, then moving to Spain as MD of Compania Cervecera de Canarias. He joined Asahi Europe in November 2016 with the task of developing the powerful premium portfolio of international brands across Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Italian by birth, Filioppo has spent much of his career on the move and before SABMiller and Asahi, held a number of key commercial roles at Unilever and Danone.
GROUP HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR, ASAHI EUROPE
Janice joined Asahi Europe Limited in February 2018 as Group HR Director. Prior to joining the business, she spent 22 years with SABMiller working in various HR generalist and specialist roles in different countries around the world. These included living in South Africa, Russia, Australia and Colombia, as well as working across other countries in the Latin America Region as Regional Talent Director. Her last role at SABMiller was that of Human Resources Vice President for Colombia, based in Bogota.
In her early career, Janice worked for a Development Bank and Beverage Company, as well as an insurance company in South Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology.
CHIEF INTEGRATION OFFICER
Nari as Chief Integration Officer acts as a bridge between Asahi Europe, Asahi Group Holdings and its subsidiaries in order to achieve the mid-term business goals for Asahi Europe. Nari came to Asahi Europe in October 2016 and was involved in migration and integration projects of governance, finance, human resources and corporate affairs.
Nari joined Asahi in 1994 as a member of human resources at the Tokyo branch of Asahi Breweries. Prior to working at Asahi Europe, he had held a number of roles over the years, including HR, corporate planning, sales strategy and marketing planning at the brewer’s headquarters.
